Ok, so I believe that at the start of the year I had some plans to play this and that and achieve this and that so with me not appearing on here for a few weeks you would assume that I have been furiously tapping away at the Xbox Controller and Achievements have been popping like mad.
Well, I am about half way though Shadow of the Tomb Raider, I have one more Episode to complete on Spartan Ops, I am playing my way through The Division 2 and haven’t even started Final Fantasy 7.
What I have done instead is buy some other games and play them, and then recently watch E3 too and so compile a shopping list for more. I think that there just isn’t enough time.
I have been off on leave for a couple of weeks and I have been playing one of the current Xbox Live Games for Gold NHL 19. Started the Be a Pro mode so baby steps development wise.
As an Xbox Insider I also signed up to try the now publicly available Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and see how it varies. Speaking of Game Pass, still trying to get some quests there.
Earlier in the year in published the below graphic showing the percentage of Achievements unlocked.
And below is what it looks like at the moment.
The percentage was a little better until I started playing Banjo-Kazooie for a bit of fun, but hey, that is what games are for.
I also had a play on the new Lego Speed Champions pack for Forza Horizon 4 last night and that looks rather interesting.
On the streaming front, I think that depending on what I want to achieve at the moment then I can have some fun. Still without a couple of key ingredients but they will come. So check out the MisguidedSumo Mixer channel and keep an eye out for videos.
I picked up Lego Ninjago the other day so that I can have a further play through, collect the last 10 achievements and add another completed game to my collection. I also added Assassin’s Creed Origins which is one that I have looked at ever since it was released and now I just need to sit down and start playing it.
I also picked up the Handsome collection of Borderlands and pre-ordered Jedi Fallen Order. On top of that, registered my interest in Project Scarlett. I think the countdown has begun.
Whilst keeping an eye on all this, I have also joined as an Xbox Ambassador in the last couple of months. I have been on Xbox live since it started and like to think of it as a community that we go to and share adventures, general fun and chat. What I and others to not enjoy are some of the language and behaviour of “gamers” and so please ensure that if you have any issues during games then report via the recommend methods. Any issues then us ambassadors are here to assist.
Back again soon.
